As a EU Project Compliance Consultant with the PNO Group, you play a crucial role in our business. . Our company is contributing to the challenges of our society, by providing extensive expertise in securing grants for R&D projects across vital sectors such as: energy & environment, transport & mobility, biotech, food & agro, digital technologies, life sciences & health, defense & security.

You will be the primary point of contact for financial project management and project administration for EU funded projects coordinated by PNO or by our clients. You maintain ongoing communication, proactively keeping partners and clients informed about the administrative and financial obligations of EU funded projects (mainly H2020 and HEU). Your role is to monitor and guide.

  • Ensuring the internal financial and management follow-up of EU funded projects in which PNO is involved as a partner or coordinator;
  • Preparing high-quality management deliverable reports and presentations;
  • Support our clients in the administrative and financial aspects of EU projects;
  • Support in audit preparations according to the legislation;
  • Continuously be on top of new regulations affecting the management of EU funded projects;
  • Be proactive in the market to discover and sell new assignments with clients.

About you

  • You are customer-oriented, can work independently, and have an eye for detail. You have an affinity with numbers and administrative procedures.
  • You already have several years of working experience in project management, financial reporting, and/or audits of European research and innovation projects (e.g. Horizon 2020, Horizon Europe, EDF, LIFE, etc.);
  • Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing, in Spanish and English;
  • Capable of working on deadlines and multitasking;
  • You like to build a strong network.

Our offer

We offer a competitive annual salary package, with a fixed salary and social benefits year and you are eligible for a bonus.

95% remote working. Presence is required for quarterly and team meetings (usually taking place in Barcelona, Madrid or Valencia). Travelling required for the attendance to meetings and personnel.
